Are you based in Aston in the West Midlands and battling drug or alcohol addiction? Which Rehab can help you take the steps to live free of addiction once and for all. We provide the leading affordable rehab services in your area, offering the ideal alcohol or detox programmes to meet your needs. You will benefit from the most suitable clinical and therapeutic therapy to treat your addiction. We have the knowledge and experience to battle an addiction, and can find the right alcohol rehab or drug detox programme to meet your requirements.
Before starting a recovery journey you must first accept you have an addiction. It’s more common than you might think to be in denial about your drug or alcohol use, even if it’s obvious to your friends and loved ones.
At Which Rehab we can help by providing an intervention service where a skilled advisor discusses your situation with you. They’ll be able to determine if you or a loved one do have an issue with addiction and get you the right care.
In 2019, 9.4% of adults aged 16 to 59 used drugs. This equates to around 3.2 million people.
If you’re ready to start alcohol detox or drug detox, you can stay at our residential rehab clinic in Birmingham, close to Aston. During the course of your treatment, you will be under the care of our highly trained medical staff. Upon your arrival, our expert doctors, nurses and psychiatric specialists will carry out a thorough assessment, establishing your medical history and any past association with addiction, before you proceed with detoxification.
This process involves stopping consuming addictive substances such as drugs or alcohol, which are gradually washed from your system, leading to unpleasant, often painful side effects. Fortunately our medical staff will be on hand to prescribe any required medication to deal with the withdrawal symptoms.
You’ll be under constant care and attention from our expert medical staff, monitoring every part of your detox. It can be a trying process but be assured our doctors and nursing staff will keep a close watch on you throughout.
Be assured that your recovery will continue after you leave our specialist rehab centre. You can make use of our exceptional follow-up and aftercare service, where you’ll stay in touch with our advising team, either face-to-face or over the phone. They’ll offer you the best outpatient care, letting you get back to normal life quickly. This is such an important service in the prevention of relapse and for maintaining rehab therapy.
You can also make use of the various other organisations offering support in the Aston area. These include the NHS, Social Work Services, Charity Rehabs as well as public and private partnerships. Beyond that there are fantastic group organisations like Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous and family support groups.
Your local health practice can also provide support, but as they are not specialist addiction treatment doctors, most GPs will refer individuals to local specialist NHS services, such as the Local Alcohol and Drug Partnerships (ADP) or Community Addiction Teams (CAT), all of which are fantastic services. Unfortunately, as with most NHS services they can be under financial pressure as well as lengthy waiting times.
